After the VDVA tour to Lviv a small group of us went on to Belarus. We were joined by some more friends in Minsk. We had never been to White Russia before and wanted to see all of the systems (tram & trolleybus): so we rented a car in Minsk and toured around the country. We knew that most of the systems would only operate fairly modern vehicles. We managed to arrange some charters and depot visits to see some older equipment as well. A repeat visit to at least some of the systems in summer weather is planned in the future.
