the photos we upload here are reduced in size and also in resolution (otherwise we would run out of storage space…) – high quality images are available for sale
not sure why, but some of the more recent conversions from the large RAW originals have resulted in somewhat “pale” JPEGs (a few have made it into the galleries below – the RAW images are fine) – trying to fix this issue for the next trips

⬆ 70 years of VDVA (www.vdva.de) and the 76th grand tour took us to all the Rhine-Main and Rhine-Neckar systems – the highlight in Frankfurt was riding an “U-Bahn” car (type U3) on the tramway (alas a photostop was not possible for various reasons)

⬆ this Belgian ex SNCV line celebrated 60 years of preservation with a big weekend event
Liège/Luettich (BE) – July
⬆ rarely do I take so few photos in a city I visit but then I only had about 10 minutes changing trains there this time (and I had been there before)…
