Travels 2025 – Part III

Prague (CZ) – August

older Tatra cars and museum vehicles (includes lines 23 and 42)

Tatra cars in regular service (line 23 see above)

modern trams (with many of the 15T cars now sporting advertising liveries) – includes images of the first 52T in service #9503 – the new “pid” livery is still very uncommon and will not be applied to the 15Ts and Tatra T3 cars)

trolleybuses (lines 58 and 59 plus museum fleet)

Amsterdam (CZ) – August

Museum Skjoldenaesholm (DK) – July

Lodz (PL) – July

Out trip includes a night charter (private hire) on line 43 as a birthday surprise (thank you very much!) – this had to be done at night as during the day it is not possible to add an extra tram into the schedule (due to the signalling at the outer terminus = only two trams can be there at any time and when the second tram arrives the first has to leave… there are always two trams there until the services ends). The first time a museum car has been here in 6 years. We also visited the rebuilt Chocianowice depot (the main hall is still a building site and we could only look through the open door). It should re-open officially later this year. Museum Brus was still without power but this was restored only a few days after our visit. The tourist line was operated in the city but we missed the buses.

Bremen (DE) – June
